The BBC visited a block of flats in Romania’s japanese metropolis of Galați, close to the border with Ukraine, after it was hit by what the nation described as a Russian drone on Friday.
A resident of the constructing stated he was afraid after the incident, which injured two individuals.
“If I am going again to my flat tonight, I’ll sleep with worry,” he informed BBC’s Jap Europe correspondent Sarah Rainsford.
Romanian President Nicușor Dan stated the drone was probably hit by Ukrainian air defences over Kyiv’s territory, altering its trajectory, although Moscow questioned whether or not it was Russian.
