BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) — A 25-year-old man has died after he was shot by cops responding to an obvious home abuse name in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to 108 Christopher Ave. in Brownsville after a lady known as 911, reporting that her ex was threatening her, and he or she believed that he was on the way in which to kill her.
NYPD officers say the lady instructed police he was indignant as a result of one other man had been watching their kids. She instructed officers that the suspect was identified to hold weapons, together with machetes and hammers.
The girl met two cops within the foyer once they arrived. Once they went upstairs to the condominium, the 25-year-old man was already inside.
Officers says that inside seconds of getting into the condominium, the person took a knife from his waistband and moved in direction of the officers.
