As Hollywood continues to mourn the passing of James Van Der Beek, a star who had been particularly near the actor has chosen to honor him in an particularly beautiful manner.
In a shifting, hand-written tribute posted to Instagram late Wednesday, Katie Holmes stated that her Dawson’s Creek colleague’s passing was “rather a lot to course of,” and that she’d written her phrases with a “heavy coronary heart.”
(Van Der Beek died on February 11 after a battle with colon most cancers.)

Within the wake of Van Der Beek’s passing, a GoFundMe set as much as help his partner and their six kids has raised over $1.3 million so far.
Alongside together with her message, Holmes wrote as a caption:
“I shaped some phrases with a heavy coronary heart. This can be a lot to course of. I’m so grateful to have shared in a chunk of James’ journey. He’s beloved. Kimberly, we love you and shall be right here at all times for you and your lovely kids.”
Elsewhere, Busy Philipps — who joined Dawson’s Creek on Season 5 — poured her out on social media, citing Van Der Beek as “one in a billion” and including:
“My coronary heart is deeply hurting for all of us at the moment…each one who knew James and liked him, anybody who liked his work or had the pleasure of assembly him, all of his pricey buddies and neighborhood that surrounded him as he battled this sickness, particularly his mother and father and brother and sister.”
