Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers dies at 48, band announces

“At present we misplaced our brother. Our bandmate. Our heartbeat. Sam Rivers wasn’t simply our bass participant – he was pure magic,” the band wrote in a submit on social media.

Limp Bizkit introduced the demise of its bassist, Sam Rivers, on Saturday. He was 48.

There was no phrase on his explanation for demise.

The American nu steel band made a protracted, heartfelt announcement on Instagram, writing partly, “At present we misplaced our brother. Our bandmate. Our heartbeat. Sam Rivers wasn’t simply our bass participant – he was pure magic. The heart beat beneath each track, the calm within the chaos, the soul within the sound.”

Rivers co-founded Limp Bizkit with vocalist Fred Durst and drummer John Otto.

The band was huge within the 90s and early 2000s, and Rivers co-wrote a lot of their hit songs, together with “Rollin,” “Nookie” and “My Approach.”
