MANHATTAN (WABC) — A person has died Friday morning after he was stabbed on a subway prepare following a dispute, in what officers say is the subway system’s first murder of the 12 months.
The 38-year-old sufferer was stabbed on a southbound No. 5 prepare after which exited on the platform on the Brooklyn Bridge-Metropolis Corridor/Chambers Avenue station Friday morning.
He was discovered affected by a number of stab wounds to his torso on the southbound 4, 5, 6 platform at 8:37 a.m.
The stabbing allegedly stemmed from a dispute between two folks on the prepare that escalated.
The sufferer was rushed to NYC Well being and Hospitals/Bellevue, the place he was later pronounced lifeless.
The attacker is described as a person in his 30s with a black beard and was seen carrying a black hoodie and Beats headphones.
