WOODSIDE, Queens (WABC) — A 7-year-old woman and two adults are in critical situation at Elmhurst Hospital after flames broke out in a house in Queens.
The fireplace began round 7 a.m. Sunday on thirty seventh Street between 68th and 69th Streets in Woodside. Six folks in complete had been taken to the hospital.
Firefighters responded shortly and had been in a position to subdue the scene inside an hour. From the skin, the hearth didn’t seem to be a monstrous inferno, however the smoke wreaked havoc on these inside.
Two firefighters suffered minor accidents. The civilians suffered from smoke inhalation.
The Pink Cross is now aiding with short-term housing for the remainder of the residents of the house.
