The assault occurred simply after 10 p.m. Thursday on the seventh flooring of an condominium constructing alongside Sedgwick Avenue within the Morris Heights part of the Bronx.
The EMTs have been responding to a name involving 22-year-old Jose Bencosme, a resident of the constructing, after they have been attacked within the hallway.
Bencosme is going through two counts of assault, each felonies, because of the assaults being on first responders.
