East Elmhurst crash: Driver lifeless, off-duty firefighter in custody after automobiles collide in Queens


EAST ELMHURST, Queens (WABC) — One driver was killed and one other is in police custody following a automobile crash in Queens on Wednesday morning.

Police say it occurred on Northern Boulevard between 107th Road and 108th Road in East Elmhurst round 4:15 a.m.

A 24-year-old man was driving a 2022 BMW northbound on 107th Road when there was a crash with a 2015 Mercedes pushed by a 28-year-old man.

It seems the motive force of the Mercedes blew a pink mild and struck the BMW.

The 24-year-old was pronounced lifeless at Elmhurst Hospital.

The entrance passenger and rear passenger within the Mercedes, each 28, have been taken to the hospital the place they’re stated to be steady.

The driving force of the Mercedes, an off-duty firefighter, is in custody with prices pending.
