Harlem fireplace: FDNY firefighters battling large flames at house constructing in Manhattan


HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) — Firefighters are battling a large fireplace at an house constructing in Harlem Wednesday evening.

FDNY officers say they’re working on the scene of a four-alarm fireplace that broke out at simply earlier than 9 p.m. on the five-story constructing situated at 108 W. 139th St. between Lenox Avenue and Powell Boulevard.

The FDNY posted video of the large flames on their X account.

Almost 40 models and 170 fireplace and EMS personnel are on the scene.

Officers say there was fireplace on the primary three flooring, which prolonged to 106 W. 139th St.

Neighbors informed Eyewitness Information that the constructing the place the hearth broke out has been vacant for a pair years.
