Massive East to call former MLB govt Tim Brosnan new commissioner


The Massive East has its new chief.

The convention is ready to rent former MLB govt Tim Brosnan because the league’s new commissioner, in accordance with ESPN. 

He replaces Val Akerman, who retired after the 2026 season following 13 years on the helm.

Brosnan, a Fordham Prep alum who grew up on the Decrease East Aspect, joined MLB in 1991 and was instrumental within the launch of MLB Community and the World Baseball Basic.

He left MLB in 2014 after shedding out to Rob Manfred to be the game’s commissioner to pursue different enterprise ventures.
