Snow slows firefighters at home in Flushing

FLUSHING, Queens (WABC) — The snow made it tough to battle a fireplace in Queens

Flames broke out round 8 p.m. inside a third-floor bed room at a house on 99th Avenue in Flushing.

When fireplace crews obtained there they discovered the bottom was slippery so that they needed to be additional cautious to not fall.

“The ice and the slush slowed issues down, however items have been in a position to get down the alley and as much as the highest ground,” stated FDNY Deputy Chief Edward Esposito.

One resident suffered minor accidents.

All residents are displaced due to the injury.
